This chance discovery was to later boost her professional career which has lasted 17 of her 20 years of life. In addition to having been one of the two regular hostesses of the TV talk
show, "Girl Talk," Sarah is a veteran of TV, film, and stage. She has appeared with Matthew Broderick and Eric Stoltz in "The Widow Claire" at the Circle in the Square, and had a feature film open in which she co-starred with Sally Kirkland and Robert Lupone. On February 24th 1993, Sarah Michelle began work on the set of All My Children. She was nominated for a Daytime Emmy in 1994 and, although she lost, she was nominated again in 1995 and won in the Younger Leading Actress category. Although she had given the producers 6 months notice of her decision to leave the show, she made her decision public the day after the
Emmy win. After 2 ½ years, Sarah left the set of AMC and moved to California to seek new fame in films or TV.

In 1996, Sarah was picked as the lead of a new series called Buffy the Vampire Slayer, based on the movie by the same name. Warner Brothers bought 13 episodes of the show, and although ratings of the pilot were the highest ever of any of the WB lineup, it ranked 100th out of 107 programs in the Nielson ratings. Warner Brothers renewed the show for another 22 episodes which will begin airing September 15th.

In June, Sarah finished shooting I Know What You Did Last Summer, which stars her and Jenniffer Love Hewitt as teens that try to cover up a hit and run. It was released on October 17th and became number one that weekend, earning a profit in just two days. Shortly after filming "I know what you did last summer", Sarah flew down to Atlanta, GA to film Scream 2, which had the largest December opening of a film and made more money in it's first weekend than the other top 9 films combined. Sarah started filming  Cruel Inventions, on April 6th last year, and follows that up with another movie entitled The Magic Hour. On March 10, 1998, Sarah won a Blockbuster Entertainment Award in the Best Supporting Actress - Horror category for her role in I Know What You Did Last Summer.

While studying the craft of acting, Borneanaz lived the life of a starving actor doing such jobs as parking cars, painting houses and handing out towels at a sports club. Charisma -- a special charm or allure that inspires allegiance or devotion.
The perfect way to describe the beautiful Charisma Carpenter is by the definition of her name. This actress has shown through her numerous television appearances that she does have a special charm or at least great looks that leave men drooling.

Charisma made one of her first television appearances on the hit show Baywatch. She played an older girl that Hobie fell in love with. Did she ever look great in a bikini! From there she moved on to the Aaron Spelling drama Malibu Shores. On Malibu Shores, Charisma played a sort of mean character who was always out to destroy Chloe's  life. This is where I came across Charisma and discovered her great beauty. Unfortunately, Malibu Shores was axed after only a few shows. I thought that Charisma would disappear but she suddenly popped up in the new television program Buffy, the Vampire Slayer! Once again she plays the villain, always trying to one up Buffy. I think Charisma is good as a villain. But from what I have read she is nothing like this in real life. Before Charisma was acting she was a cheerleader with the San Diego Chargers. This shows that she has tremendous athletic talent as well as acting talent.
Before Malibu Shores began TV Guide stated that "if Malibu Shores is the next 90210, maybe Charisma Carpenter is the next Shannen Doherty. Also in an article entitled Mixing it up in Malibu in TV Guide the following was stated about Charisma's appearance in Malibu Shores. "The Shannen Doherty bad-girl role is taken by a sultry stunner, Charisma Carpenter, who in the pilot comes across as the most beguiling and fleshed-out character on-screen. (Offscreen too; she charmed a group of journalists recently by referring to her name as 'an absolute curse' and describing her Las Vegas childhood: 'My Mom owned a retail store, so I had these hot satin pants. I was like Satan at my all-Christian school.')"

It is obvious that Charisma is nothing like the characters she has played on both Malibu Shores and Buffy, the Vampire Slayer but the she is in fact a nice girl.
