  • The Buffy the Vampire Slayer soundtrack's release date has been pushed back again.
  • Buffy Metallic Gold Cappucino Mug is out now. Check Power Star.
  • Season 3 Trading Cards will be released in September.
      Out in June, are the Buffy Photo Cards. 4x6 picture cards, 54 cards per set. They will be available in packs of six. Prices may vary, but sets are expected to be $19.95, I am unsure of price in UK or if the release date is the same.
  • Palisades Marketing and 20th Century Fox Licensing & Merchandising have signed a licensing agreement that calls for Palisades to create and market a line of collectible Lunchboxes based on the hit television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. The designs are expected to feature both Buffy and Angel so as to appeal to all fans.

Latest news regarding the ongoing video releases is that Fox are still on course for an early August start date. The bad news is that the initial release will now consist of the three tapes that made up the US box set nearly a year ago. Only the artwork covers of issue 9 of the Buffy Comic have made it across the Atlantic so far. Most London specialist shops are expecting the photo covers on Tuesday

In the wake of Sarah Michelle Gellar's triumph in becomming the world's sexiest women due to a FHM (For Him Magazine) poll, the new Radio Times SMG 2000 Calendar is sure to be a massive seller. This should be available from stockists such as Athena from 01/06/1999.

New at Power Star this week are Buffy and Angel logo baseball caps, yet more mugs and this month's young adult Buffy novel, Unnatural Selection by Mel Odom.


"Cruel Intentions" Seduces Its Way to Home Video: The major guilty pleasure Cruel Intentions should be arriving on video and DVD August 2nd from Columbia Tri-Star Home Video. Right now the only extras the DVD is said to have is commentary by writer/director Roger Kumble.
